SAQA BENEFIT AUCTION

A group of fiber artists I belong to is having an on line auction to raise money for our art group.There are many nice pieces to bid on at the auction. Hope you get a chance to view them.

FOUR CORNERS QUILT EXHIBITION, FLAGSTAFF AZ

My piece, DESERT RAVEN AT SUNSET WITH IRONWOOD TREES, has been jurried into an art show at the Coconino Center for the Arts in Flagstaff, AZ this summer. Dates for the show are June 11 thru July 20, 2013. If you are visiting the Grand Canyon, it is close by.

 BLACK BIRD BLUE DAY will also be in the Flagstaff Show this summer. It measures 24''x24''.

AGAVE I

The Arizona desert where I live has many agave. Here is my interpretation of some that I often see. It is quilted and measures 34''x 24''. It is on display at the Desert Foothills Lutheran Church in Scottsdale from Dec. 4 thru Feb. 26, 2013.

AGAVE II

This second agave was done in contrast to the lighter previous one. Here in the Sonoran Desert there are many beautiful plants. My quilt piece measures 36''x 26''. It is also in the Desert Foothills Church Show.

MOON LIGHT

Moon Light is 36''x 36''. It is part of a series on stars, light and moons.

This quilted wall hanging measures 41''x 48''.
